THE PERFECT BLACK DRESS YOU NEED.

Okay, so I’ve been the world’s worst blogger lately. In that, I haven’t posted in… well… forever.

But I’m back, and here to tell you that I’ve found the BEST black slip dress.

If you haven’t read my post on building a timeless wardrobe check it out here. But  basically I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect, versatile black slip dress. Something I can wear on its own or layer, make it dressy or keep it casual.

And I found it. And it’s ethically made. Can you believe it?

This midi dress is Organic from John Patrick. A label focused on sustainability, fair labor practices and creating beautiful, timeless pieces all in one!

Although it has the look and feel of silk, it is made from 100% Cupro. What’s that? Yeah.. I didn’t know either. It’s a Biodegradable And Oeko-Tex Certified Cotton Fabric. Basically it drapes like silk, breathes like cotton and is an eco-consciously created slice of magic. An unlike silk, it actually still looks amazing when it gets crinkled.

You’ll be seeing this baby plenty on here and my instagram (particularly when I’m travelling… I already know I’m going to live in this dress).

As in FYI, I bought the size M in this dress, as I wanted it to be loose, flowy and body skimming (vs body hugging)… but that’s just my personal preference.
