February has really seen a theme take place… which is essentially the theme of my life lately.
I’m obsessed with all ocean/surf/beach related things… I thought the shell obsessed would fade, but it just keeps morphing into a new take on this oceanic trend.
THE DRESS
Lottie Hall is a gal pal, and an incredibly talented lady. She hand draws her prints and I’m essentially obsessed with everything she touches. She just lives outside the passing trends in fashion and does what is uniquely true to her and I love that. I’ve had my eye on this dress for MONTHS! And it’s probably just time I bit the bullet and got it, before it sells out…again. Cause I know I would just live in it!
OUAI
I’ve seen sooooo much posted about this brand, so I wanted to try it and see what all the fuss is about. Now personally, I’m all about the natural salt water in my hair. I generally try to get in the ocean every day and it works the best for adding texture and style to my hair. BUT sometimes I have to actually wash my hair…. and can’t get into the ocean, so a trusty salt spray is an essential in my rather limited hair styling kit [it pretty much is the whole kit]. I’ve been using this product for a couple of weeks now and do love the texture it gives to my hair. Though I have found best results when I spray it into damp hair. I have another fave product for when my hair is completely dry [will share soon if you guys are keen on a basic hair styling post].
DEAD KOOKS
Now this is something I am probably the most excited about. I’ve had a Dead Kooks surfboard on my mental lust list for like…. two years. And I added it into this post, cause well… look how prettyyyyyy.
But since starting this post I have actually ordered my new custom long board with Eden. His designs and colour work is just amazing. I can’t wait to see my baby come to life [this exact board was my inspiration/reference image so I already know it’s going to be beautiful].
